Volunteers

Neither Wasa, Ta Ta Creek, Skookumchuck nor The Tri-Village area itself is incorporated, yet we have facilities to rival any Village and many small towns. They were all constructed and are maintained by volunteers. Though most of the facilities are located at Wasa they are used by and supported by members of the larger community.

Wasa School

The Wasa Elementary School has been closed for over a quarter century, and in spite of being a still solid building is being scheduled for demolition. The Tri-Village Volunteers Society has been working with various levels of government to acquire the school for day care, recreation and other community uses.
